She Was In the Upper Room and With Jesus for Thirty Years Before He Was Revealed to the World

I love swimming laps in my pool and praying the Rosary. Praying the Rosary is such a wonderful way to begin or end the day. I also have a simple statue of Mary holding baby Jesus (Our Lady of Mt Carmel) in her arms at the deep end of my pool, where a rock waterfall is located. Mother Mary and baby Jesus, look like they are standing near a cave or grotto, since the rocks are bigger than the figurine.
I love to glance at it while praying and meditating on the Rosary mysteries. Today, I was praying the Glorious Mysteries; I got to the third mystery, the day of Pentecost, the upper room, when the Holy Spirit fell on the Apostles, Mother Mary and all the 120 peps in the room.
And my mind drifted to a different place....The Upper Room..
I stopped swimming and looked at Mary and her holding the infant Jesus in her arms.
Then pondering her being there with the Apostles in the upper room.
Then gazing at the statue again.. Wow! Mary holding baby Jesus (God in the flesh), Jesus looks to be maybe two years old..
Hummm, Were they still in Egypt hiding when He was this age? How amazing and sorrowful her life must of been to be chosen by God, for such an important role, to reconcile the world back to God the Father. Mother Mary carried Jesus, God in the flesh in her womb, gave birth to Him, and nursed Him. She witnessed His first steps, His first words and cared for Him when He was to small to care for Himself, even though He was God and very human, He created the universe, He created everything and now He has humbled Himself and is a helpless baby. All of the infant Jesus’ needs and His protection from harm is provided by His mother and Joseph. He was so dependent on her, like all children are with their parents. She was there through all the years a mother cares for their child; infant, baby, toddler, His teenage years, then a young man and finally a grown man of thirty.

Thinking of her being there at Pentecost, (third Glorious mystery) made me think of her being with Him for 30 years, until she had to share Him with the world. The reality is, she had Him longer than His earthly ministry.. 30 years!

I'm sure He must have had friends and family, but they did not know who He was...She did, the angel told her:
Luke 1: 30-33: Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father, and he will rule over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.
Remember His own hometown rejected Him, when the time had come for Him to be revealed to the world. He was 30 when He started the journey to the cross.
Mary had Him to herself for 30 years...and the Apostles and all who saw Him and met Him and witnessed the miracles...had Him for three years.
My thoughts: what did they talk about? What did they enjoy doing together for 30 years?
Mother Mary was with Him all the way to the cross and such a Big part of the humble beginnings of the CHURCH, the day the Holy Spirit descended on them all in the upper room.
Some folks think Mary was just an incubator and since the Bible does not go in detail about there relationship, it must of been nothing.. How could that be? She had Him for thirty years...and said; “yes!”...
“Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.” Then the angel departed from her.
The Immaculate Conception, His Birth, His Childhood all the years from 0-30, the Wedding Feast, turning water into wine, His journey to the cross, the hanging on the cross, His Death, His Resurrection, Pentecost, the assumption and this is not the end of the story... Rev.12:1
* A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman* clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
Luke 1:41-42
When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the infant leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth, filled with the holy Spirit, cried out in a loud voice and said, “Most blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.
Luke 1: 46-56
"From now on will all ages call me blessed."
The Canticle of Mary.
And Mary said: “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord;
my spirit rejoices in God my savior. For he has looked upon his handmaid’s lowliness; behold, from now on all ages will call me blessed. The Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is his name. His mercy is from age to age to those who fear him. He has shown might with his arm, dispersed the arrogant of mind and heart. He has thrown down the rulers from their thrones but lifted up the lowly. The hungry he has filled with good things; the rich he has sent away empty. He has helped Israel his servant, remembering his mercy according to his promise to our fathers, to Abraham and to his descendants forever. ”Mary remained with her about three months and then returned to her home.

Love mediating on the Rosary.... It points me to the things from above, my Jesus.
